Friday, July 7

Prairie Arts Center (416 N. Jeffers) — 10 year anniversary celebration. Open house with artist demonstrations and live music by The Wildwoods and James Burke. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. No charge.

Nebraskaland National Bank (1400 S. Dewey) — Platte River Cruise Night.  5-7 p.m. registration and social. Kids Cruise in the parking lot from 7-8 p.m. 5-10 p.m.

North Platte’s one-way streets (Dewey & Jeffers) — Platte River Cruise. Cruise “the ones.” 5 p.m. through the evening. Freestyle burnouts at Advance Auto. The normal “cruise the ones” route will be shortened to avoid construction. Cars will turn around at Luigi’s at E Street. Heading north, vehicles can travel Jeffers / U.S. 83 all the way to 18th, loop around the Bill Wood baseball field and return on Jeffers, organizer Rob Cappa said. The Cruise continues downtown Saturday and Sunday.

Peg Leg Brewery (2519 Halligan Dr) — Live music by No Drinking On Grounds. 7-9 p.m.

Lincoln County Raceway (5015 Rodeo Road) — Junior Go Kart races. 7-9 p.m.

Buffalo Bill State Historical Park (2921 Scouts Rest Ranch Rd) — North Platte Pow Wow. $7 for one night or $15 for weekend. 7-10 p.m. Continues all day Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Canteen District, Downtown — Platte River Cruise. Cruise “the ones.” With Poker Run, freestyle motocross and more. All day.
