New pickleball-themed entertainment district set for grand opening in Overland Park

SERV will feature pickleball, six unique chef-driven food concepts, fresh bar scenes, and yard games

A new pickleball-centered entertainment district is set to host its grand opening in Overland Park, Kansas. SERV, a new indoor and outdoor entertainment complex, will offer a variety of food concepts, pickleball courts, oversized yard games and private event spaces.An exact date has not been announced for the grand opening, which will be held at 9051 Metcalf Ave.”SERV was conceived in 2020 by local creative restaurateur Rachel Kennedy-Cuevas, whose previous concepts include the innovative shipping container food and retail park, The Iron District. Kennedy-Cuevas has set her sights on this exciting new venture in the growing world of EATertainment,” The complex owners announced in a press release Tuesday.Overland Park will be home to six new climate-controlled indoor and two outdoor courts.SERV also boasts six outdoor restaurant concepts, all owned and operated by the company. Options include BBQ, street tacos and a plant-based concept.The complex also offers two large bars, an ice cream/dessert concept and an onsite coffee shop partnered with Messenger Coffee Co., complete with a drive-through window. During the grand opening, there will be tours of the spaces, pickleball demonstrations, and a plethora of food and drink for the public to enjoy. SERV is also looking for employees ahead of its grand opening.
